Planting up a pond at Haysden

Meeting every Thursday, volunteers carry out practical conservation work including bridge building, footpath work, hedge and tree planting, pond clearance and fencing.

Volunteers must be over 16, able bodied and bring with them a packed lunch, strong footwear, outdoor clothes, waterproofs and plenty of enthusiasm! (A hat and sunscreen are recommended for hot summer days).

No experience necessary!!!

Transport, hot drinks and training all provided free!

Pick up points:

Project Office (Next to the Malta Inn, Allington Lock) 9:00am

Maidstone West Railway Station     9:30am

Dropping back       4:00pm - 4:30pm
(Though no exact time can be guaranteed.)

Transportation is available and all training, hot drinks, and equipment are provided.
